Larger whole-home projects usually sit between £30,000 and £60,000, and full country-house projects have run well into six figures. Every price on this page comes from a real project we designed, made and fitted.

Every piece is designed for your windows and handmade for your home, so a handful of choices shape the final figure:
Fabric is clearly an important element of your final cost, and it is also the one element with room to move. Fitting costs tend to stay the same whatever other choices you make. Hardware has a smaller range, though decisions around the pole maker do affect cost. The making varies surprisingly little.
If an estimate comes back higher than you hoped, that is a good place to look first. We are very skilled at finding great alternatives: if we have quoted a fabric at £50 a metre and that is more than you want to spend, we can very often find you something lovely at £28.
There are other ways to make a budget go further, and a good curtain designer should guide you through them:

One word of caution: we never recommend saving money on lining. A good lining protects the fabric and makes curtains hang beautifully, so saving there is a false economy.

Your window count and sizes do not change from one supplier to the next, so the difference sits in everything else: the heading, the lining, the fabric, the trimmings, the hardware, the making and the fitting. Yes. We do not throw a two-line quote at you and leave you to take it or leave it. Seeing your project scope itemised is what lets you make the decisions that bring it in at the price that is right for you, and we will guide you through those decisions.
Often, yes, once fabric, making, track and fitting are included, and our project table above shows real examples rather than a vague range. Our projects have also started from a few hundred pounds for a single blind. The answer for your windows takes one conversation.
Online is cheaper because you take on the measuring, the decisions and the fitting, and the making is by machine. For straightforward windows that can work well. For period homes, bay windows and the rooms you care about most, accurate measuring, boutique fabric access and a proper finish usually pay for themselves in a result you will love for years.
