I found Katherine on a Google search. I liked the website and made contact. Katherine was quick to respond and then so helpful and efficient. We are so happy with the finished product and also the painless and enjoyable process. These are my pictures and do not do the curtains good justice. Katherine came round while we were still in a building site so visualising what we needed may not have been easy, but she listened and could see through the mess. She came back a second time with suggestions and samples - not too many to overwhelm but enough to give a good choice. I chanced upon Katherine quite by luck as I contacted her (excellent ) curtain fitter Chris to measure my existing curtains from my previous house to see whether they would work in my new one and fit them if possible. We live overseas much of the time but Katherine and Chris were able to come round despite the pre Christmas rush. Between them they make a first rate team with Chris providing top notch technical advice and Katherine leading on the aesthetic side. Having bought and sold our previous house within a short space of time, and had various curtains and blinds made for that, I was pretty clued up about the process and my fabric likes. Quite aside from the lovely end result throughout the house, I’d heartily recommend Katherine for dealing with awkward bay windows. The suggestion for dealing with them ended up looking great as well as blocking out the light.
Most of our communication was done via email with samples sent to me in France. Some of the decisions I was happy to leave largely to Katherine with minimum or no input from me (curtain poles, privacy blinds). I knew I was in excellent hands and was not let down. Katherine also came up with some fabric suggestions from smaller fabric houses I’d never come across and which were real winners.
Despite me having to drag out the work due to other work which needed to be done on the house and availability of workmen, Katherine was extremely patient. She also makes super curtains and blinds which I think are very good value. I would recommend Katherine wholeheartedly.

Katherine's attention to detail was evident in her cross-checking the exact paint brand / colours of our walls and woodwork to ensure she selected the most suitable fabric samples for us. We received a really varied and plentiful range of samples - all in line with our taste and stated fabric preferences.
Katherine also made some great suggestions about what would and wouldn't work, such as borders on blinds, as well as the pros and cons of curtains or blinds in each room. She also works with a really great surveyor and fitter who talks you through the best fit for your particular room and window type; all things I'd never considered. The pricing structure she provides is very transparent, which is reassuring.
In sum, what started off as an order of a pair of blinds and a curtain became an order to cover most of the windows in our house! SO glad that I got cold feet about using an online-only curtain and blind supplier, as I would never have measured and fitted them properly!
